Fairfield Inn & Suites to anchor new Crystal River resort

When completed in early 2021, the new Crystal Riverfront Resort may welcome Manatee as its first visitors. Located “right on the waterfront,” the resort will tout a resort-styled Fairfield Inn & Suites, 300 square foot event lawn, water taxi, marina, dive shop, freestanding restaurant and rooftop pub.

Destined to become Crystal River’s premier leisure destination, the resort will appeal to vacationers, tourists, corporate groups and discerning brides-to-be.

There Really Are No Limits to What You Can Do.

The hotel, only the second Marriott-branded product to be found along Florida’s Adventure Coast, is an “enhanced” Fairfield Inn & Suites concept. It will feature an impressive, open-air lobby, with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the landscaped event lawn and tranquil Crystal River. Reservation pods are poised to welcome arriving guests, and direct them to the hotel’s 72 guest rooms, most adjoined to accommodate couples, families and groups.

Event groups can choose from sunset weddings to tented gatherings to lighted, nighttime celebrations. The event lawn is ample space for groups of 100-to-150, an entertainment stage and dance floor.

Dining Is Unexpected and Seemingly Unlimited!

The resort’s new specialty restaurant will tout rooftop, covered and waterfront dining… all with limitless views overlooking Crystal River. Casually distinct fare and a daily, fresh catch special will be served with refreshing beverages to lunch, dinner and late-night diners. The restaurant will also offer a takeaway dining menu for the resort’s hotel guests and lighter fare for the poolside pub. A catering team will fulfill group culinary needs by preparing and delivering plated meals, fresh to the event lawn, only steps away. Last-but-not-least, boaters will be able to purchase box meals and beverages through the dive shop, perfect for their day on the water.

The resort marina will provide slip rental for 33 boats. Fishing, diving and touring charters may be commissioned through the dive shop. Additionally, the resort’s water taxi will depart and arrive hourly, bringing new dining patrons from other  locales along the King’s Bay waterfront.

The Crystal Riverfront Resort will be a distinctive, experiential concept in the market, and positioned to be the first-choice for locals and vacationers, alike.
